Cookie policy

Cookies are small files stored by a browser. LocalStorage and session storage are browser storage tools that can keep small pieces of data on a device. Similar technologies may also be used to recognize a session, remember preferences, or measure product behavior.

Dabe uses these technologies only as needed for the Services described below. The exact storage used can vary by browser, device, environment, and enabled integrations.

Some storage is needed for the Services to work. For example, Dabe may use authentication session storage, security-related tokens, company-scoped routing state, booking workflow state, and interface state required to load the dashboard or widget.

Blocking strictly necessary storage may prevent login, admin navigation, booking steps, or estimate flows from working correctly.

• Theme and interface preferences, such as light or dark mode.
• Admin dashboard view state, such as the last selected dashboard area.
• In-progress repair or replacement estimate flow state, so a user can continue a partially completed flow.
• Language or display preferences where supported.

Dabe may store or generate session identifiers and event metadata to measure how visitors interact with estimate and booking workflows. This helps Dabe and HVAC companies understand quote starts, quote views, booking starts, booking completions, drop-off, device type, and service demand.

Analytics storage is used to improve product performance and Customer reporting. Dabe does not currently use ad retargeting pixels or share this information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Dabe may use Google Places to power address autocomplete. When you use address autocomplete, information typed into the address field may be processed by Google under Google's applicable terms, including the Google Maps Platform Terms and Google Privacy Policy.

Dabe may also connect estimate or booking workflows to services such as Supabase, ATTOM, and ServiceTitan. Those services may use their own storage or processing technologies when their functionality is enabled.

Most browsers let you delete or block cookies and site storage. Browser controls are usually available in privacy or site settings. Some browsers also let you clear storage for a specific site.

If you block or delete Dabe storage, you may be signed out, lose in-progress estimate answers, reset preferences, interrupt booking flows, or prevent analytics from associating events with a single session.

Dabe does not currently use advertising cookies, ad retargeting pixels, or cross-context behavioral advertising trackers on the Dabe-controlled Services.

If Dabe adds advertising or retargeting technologies in the future, we will update this policy and the Privacy Policy before relying on those technologies.

The duration of cookies and browser storage varies. Session storage may clear when the browser session ends. Local storage may remain until it is deleted by the user, browser, or application. Server-side analytics and booking records may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new last updated date.
